This site reveals a fascinating insight into some of the history of Rochee and the Sarnos (the stuff we can remember at least) and how the songs on our second album - "The Golden Dawn" developed and some of the actual influences behind a few of the lyrics, no matter how tenuous or obscure they are. We recorded the album live, no guide tracks or nuffink, because we wanted to produce a similar sound that you would hear on stage, we know the singer can't sing, we know it is a one string bass, but we have the best guitar and drums in the business - so we don't care!
It is very possible that the band holds the record for longest amount of time between debut and follow up albums - some 22 or 23 years.
The future is looking good with several European and UK gigs already lined up for 2008, more recordings are on the way, and a very special, highly top secret project is expected to be ready by 2009.
None of us are sure how long this all can last, but as long as you want it - you got it!
